I love that word catherine because it sums up the so called sale in boots perfectly.As i mentioned yesterday the 2 local stores i visited yesterday were trying to sell last years maybelline , loreal and revlon makeup for £5 each in the sale:eek: .They also think its amusing trying to get rid of dust covered electrical items which i happen to remember from at least 3 years ago, I think they might drag a dinosaur or a mammoth out from the stockroom somewhere for sale in the next few days fingers crossed they might have an extra points coupon in the advantage machines for those too.:rolleyes: Ignore the bad experiences and carry on with your bootsing.

Went to boots yesterday had a small but pretty good trip. £1.19 silvikin mini hairspray 100 points back with boots parenting gift voucher, £1.79 pantene ice shine shampoo 200 points back with parenting voucher Some boots expert sensitive babies moisturising cream (for myself lol, its good stuff) with a half price voucher £1.14 I spotted a £2 memory card by the till but my advantage card wouldn't spit out a 500 points voucher, gutted. I am thinking of buying a olay total effects cleanser (its £4.79) for 500 points but moneys a little tight at the moment haha. I want to get enough points for a chanel perfume before christmas.

went into Boots yesterday to get a memory card for my new Samsung E900 from Littlewoods - they had a 1gig card reduced in sale to £19.99, I also bought a toy reduced to £3 to take spend over £20, from ATM used 500 points for memory card and 150 points on 20 quid shop (which it doubled on receipt) altogether gained 850 points - then spent 1000 on 2 Leap Pad books which were reduced to half price for daughter for Christmas.

amazing boots shop this morning, all of the clearance toys were half the marked clearance price but no signs were up yet, the only give away was the staff picking up loads, i got the following for christmas for my twins:

dora the explorer leapster game 5.00 (was 20.00)
hama disney princess beads 3.75 (was 14.99)
dora shopping market playset 2.49 (was 19.99)
Bratz baby mermaid 2.49 (was 14.99)
Sand art scooby doo 2.49 (was 9.99)
Splash dora and boots 2.49 (was 9.99)
barbie gienvere 2.24 (was 19.99)
sand art disney princess 2.49 (was 9.99)
Glamour girls game 1.31 (was 4.99 ?)
Lego doctors car and man 0.99 (was 3.99)
Boots peg pictures 0.62 (was 4.99)

cost me 26.36 for 155.26 worth of stuff and yes as you can guess i have a daughter who is a bit dora mad

on .com the now they have 20% off travel and 20%off all baby stuff , does anyone know if this is in-store as well .

i know that the 20% off baby stuff is but i want to know if it will give you the two discounts like it does on line ?? thank you all

Little old me - 20% off is instore as well, includes sale children's clothing too. Sale toys appear to be 75% of. So some real bargains to be had.eg Leappad for £10, and Leappad games for £2.50 in Liverpool. Perfumes and toiletries now 75% off too

I really wish Boots had a national policy! I'm so envious of your amazing haul! I got several of these scanned in my Boots this morning - nothing came up at the prices you paid. "Lego doctors car and man 0.99 (was 3.99)" was still £5!
All I got was a box of Duplo rail track, half the marked price of £3.

The no7 sun stuff is further reduced, but didn't see any make-up bargains. Hey ho.

thank you for that , i want to pick up a sun shade thats reduced to 19.19 from 29.99 on line because of the two discounts , so if its the same in store ill just pick it up from there when in town later
