Did have a chat with the ever so helpful girls on Clinique tho and they said the 1000 extra points on beauty stuff ends next Wednesday and the new Clinique bonus time gifty thing starts on Thursday. Got a couple of samples from them and a promise that, if I go in on Wednesday, they will let me have the GWP a day early AND the 1000 extra points (aw, isn't that nice of them) :j :j
Arghhh, I want the GWP and bonus points toooo! Can I come with you?
Reckon they would also give you the 750 parenting voucher points aswell? :rotfl:Mother, wife, scientist, analyst.

Sometimes when a cstomer has a large basket and you want to get it all quickly scanned for them it is easy to miss the clearance sticker and sell them for full price. Just point out the mistake to the SA and all will change the price without a problem.
They do honour it, even on clearance items, although only certain ambre solaire are on BOGOF. Soltan is advertised as ALL BOGOF although some kids creams as only going through as save, make sure you check this as you might get charged for both if the SA doesn't notice and manually override it for you.
I bought 2 bottles of soltan in the sale on monday. They didn't go through as BOGOF, SA said sale items are excluded from BOGOF (this was at hammersmith). When I got back to work and checked my receipt, I noticed the crafty SA had put the soltan through as 'beauty', to make sure the till didn't give me 1 item free *jobsworth*0 -
Nothing seems to be any cheaper online yet.
EDITED - I see they have now changed the 500pts offer to "500 extra points-2 selected fashion brand items""I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic:D

Bourjois mobile lip glosses @20p. Still priced at £3.50
Olay regenerist skin polisher (£3.75 on .com) 500 point coupon from parenting mag. Priced at £6.00 in store
Olay regenerist daily creme wash (3.25 on .com) 200 point coupon. Priced at £5.50 in store
Baby organic rice half price with parenting coupon-none in stock
Hipp organic first taste free with parenting coupon- got it:j
Reduced pantene which my sister bought for £2.50 for 900ml, 200 points coupon, none left in stock
I had 2x save £1 on botanics bathing and 100 points coupon from h&b magazine and there was no reduced botanics left
SA wouldn't put my toni & guy 100 points from acm through as I had a mini (thought I'd try it)
SA also wouldn't give me the free changing bag without buying nappies.
No memory cards under £10
And the piece de resistance, after holding off to see if p&p was going to go into 3 for 2 I decided to get it today because I really fancied the gwp and my haggard face needs it. SA wouldn't let me have the gwp because I had a reduced no7 item to make it up to £18 so I just took the p&p.:o
I did get my DD some reduced toys though which I suppose will be half the price tomorrow. Through most of this I had 2 crying kids
I am rubbish at this, all you ladies who get good bargains, I applaud you. You have my respect, just be glad you don't live in Glasgow.

Morning Catherine.......and any other lurkers or newbies to Bootsing...
Just to give you hope, we aren't all brilliant at this - it takes time and effort and we all have off days where things don't work and we walk away to try again another day.
Many a time I've smiled sweetly and said "oh dear, is that a GWP? I wondered why I couldn't see a price- sorry - just put it to one side this time", or "Sorry, didn't realise the voucher wasn't valid as I didn't read it - my fault".
Just don't feel railroaded into buying an item anyway - walk away and try another till or another shop - once you get your first result it'll all become easier as you realise there isn't a neon sign flashing over your head saying "Attention - Bootser at large!"
I've always had my best results on .com with the offers on there - I don't always get there on time, but hey, that's the way it goes.
Happy Bootsing all - I'm off to.....you know where.....:cool:0 -
Any bargains this morning anyone?

It's actually the till that won't let you have it. I've had to deal with so many nasty customers because the till only accepts full price no7 as part of the £18 spendI bought 2 bottles of soltan in the sale on monday. They didn't go through as BOGOF, SA said sale items are excluded from BOGOF (this was at hammersmith). How mean of her! I can't believe she group coded it so you wouldn't get it free! Anything with a clearance sticker with the price written on will usually go through the til with the same offer as the rest of the brand. Did you phone to query this?0 -
Sorry for the ignorance, but what other ways are there to print the photos at the kiosks?
Apart from Bluetoothing pictures one by one to the kiosk, and the mysterious USB slot which i'm not sure works with usb cables to camera/phone (might just want a usb memory stick with pics on), there's also multiple slots for the various memory cards you can get in all shapes and sizes which you just slot in. The only size it doesn't cater for is the teeeeeny weeny little memory cards (M2 or something?) which are about the size of a small fingernail  when you get these tiny memory cards tho (either with a phone, or when you buy them on their own) they come with an adapter which you slot it into BEFORE you slot it in to the kiosk, which makes it a physically larger card, similar to a SD card which is about an inch high or something.:rotfl:0 -
Watch out in Boots, now items on clearance that are on offer do not take the discount off. I picked up 2 soltan men sun spray reduced to £2.50 each and the till just did "save" and charged me £5 for both, no bogoff on suncream offer. SA said it did a "save" instead now, so offers not as good :-(0
