How long to obtain a MAC code from Pipex?

I have twice requested my MAC code from Pipex in the last month and have received my MAC code by text the next day. Used it the second time to migrate to NewNet.
Pipex speeds suck at .035 - -.600 -
Opal, Pipex (Tiscali) STAY WELL AWAY FROM THEM!!! Always experiencing 'high call volumes' Always make you hold on an expensive premium number. I have spent hours with them trying to sort out simple stuff, only to be told my account has been closed for two years, that I live somewhere I don't, that they need to put me through to someone else (average 5 times per call) each time I get put back to the beginning of a 20 minute queue (on premium line).
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. As soon as I can get my MAC code from them. A whole other issue, I'm outta here. I have O2 in my house (Pipex as work) and O2 have been a breath of fresh air compared to Pipex. I am changing my Business broadband to O2 as well.0
