How long to obtain a MAC code from Pipex?

Hi, does anyone know how long it takes Pipex to issue a MAC code? I rang them last Monday (02/07/07) and they told me that it would be emailed to me, but so far nothing?

I emailed them recently to get a MAC code as well. No reply. Typical Pipex. Get on the phone and tell them you're not going to take any waffle.

I'm hoping to get a MAC code soon from Pipex (Homecall).. i'll wont holding my breath I imagine, as customer service from them has always been terrible.

I got mine instantly, when I asked for mine. This was about 4 months ago.

Well I rang them today and they finally gave me the code over the phone. Just got to decide which ISP to go with now.

Asked for my MAC Code last saturday and still nothing.

From what I have read earlier in the thread, are they able to give you a mac code over the phone as I am looking to go with Newnet but need the mac code.

OfCom requires that it is sent within 5 working days. If they don't, make a complaint

I have just spoken to Pipex and they have said because I have an LLU line it takes longer to get a Mac Code and it should be ready in a couple of days.

Does having an LLU line take them longer to issue a mac code or are they just trying to fob me off

Fob you off, its a computer system that will generate a MAC code, takes about a minute to fully process!

Thanks for your help.

I called back explaining I was after my Mac code as I hadn't received it and under Ofcom regulations I should have had it by now and they generated the code while I was on the phone.
