my partner and i would really really like a holiday this year, but are v restricted-both by cash and dates. the ONLY week that we can go away is 14.08.07-21.08.07, give or take 1 day. worst time of the year i know, but seriously only week off!

Criteria (if we can be cheeky enough to have any!):

Destination- not too fussy. somewhere warm, poss near a beach or at least with pool. bit of culture would be good...and good red wine!
Airports-again not so fussy. based in north yorks, so leeds or doncaster would be ideal (best to go with one thats cheaper to get to). wouldn't mind manchester/liverpool though, or even londres if it worked out way cheaper!
Travel dates- As above
Duration of Hol- 7 days (got work commitments on the 13th and family wedding on 24th so we'd be pushing anything else!)
No of people- 2
Type of holiday- relaxing, sunny, teeny bit of culture??
Board basis- cheap so whatevs!
Price range- tight! prob about £250pp
In flight meal- def not...what a liberty!
Night flights/stopovers- fine
Specific requirements- nowhere full of louts!

please can somebody help advise me. My daughter is going away for the weekend with her dad, i never get away so my boyfriend and i want to take the opportunity to go away at the same time. I want to go after 9.30pm on friday 10 august come back monday 13th afternoon or go sat 11 august morning come back same. We want to go to either venice, barcelona, madrid,etc been to paris otherwise would go there. Can only find price over £400.00 on net. Rang travel agent said she could not find anything only amsterdam do not want to go there. many thanks for any help advise.

Initially looking for a quote for Caesar House Residenze Romane,Rome.Been quoted a standard room,but would like a price for a suite if available.
Been quoted £638.43 (Venere) for 4 nights. May also book the Ceasar house hotel for slightly overlapping dates for 2 friends who are coming with us 3 nights.

Best quote please for 2 adults travelling to Dubai on 21st September 2007 from BHX, Swiss is the best price i've got so far.

Staying 2 nights in a Creek area hotel, Sheraton Creek, or any other suggestions on b&b basis followed by 5 nights at beach end, we just returned from Le Royal Meridien but would consider others if price was better - trying to stick to as tight a budget as possible!

I am aware that it is Ramadan at this time

On the Swiss flights we would fly back on the 29th as it is an early a.m flight, but check out of hotel on 28th.
