    Hiya

Looking for holiday to Dominican republic (North if poss) 1 week from 13/16th August 2007. All inclusive in 4* or higher for 2 adults.

Destination airport: not too fussy, any London/Manchester/Birmingham etc.

Direct flights with in flight meal and coach transfers to accommodation.

No specific requiremements, just close to beach, nice hotel etc.

Have been looking at the Riu Mambo or something similar, best price so far is around £650. Can anyone beat this?

    • Desired destination(s) tropical holiday - Caribbean/Latin America, or India/Sri Lanka. Usual suspects: Cancún, Puerto Plata, Havana, Holguín, Salvador, Natal, Goa, Trivandrum, Colombo
    • Which airport/ports? Birmingham, any London Airport
    • Holiday Travel Dates. 14 or 21 nights, January-mid February 2008
    • Type of holiday? Flight only (tho package might be considered if price is very cheap - package hotel probably wouldn't be used tho). Preferably not an expensive destination, as we're going to travel independently (eg most of English speaking Caribbean is out).
    • What your price range is. I've done these trips every year, normally paying between £150 and £250 per person. Definitely under £300
    • Whether you require an in-flight meal. No, cut all extras to the bone please
    • Are night-flights or stopovers acceptable? Yes
    • Any specific requirements – no

  • Hi, I hope someone can help me find the best price. I haven't looked around much yet but went home last year at about the same time and it cost us approximately £1750, so I'm imagining it will be similar. This is a genuine posting, I will definitely need to book this holiday as it's for a wedding.
    • Desired destination(s) Christchurch, New Zealand, travelling on the evening of Friday 4th April 2008 (or the following day), then returning to UK by 19th April 2008.
    • Which airport/ports? Any London airport.
    • Holiday Travel Dates. Are you flexible?
    • Duration of holiday 2 weeks - must be back in the UK by 19 April 2008.
    • Number of people travelling 2 adults, one infant (21 months)
    • Type of holiday? We're travelling home for a wedding on the 12th April and would quite like to break our return journey by stopping over for about a week on the way back (ie leaving NZ around the 13-14th). We're not fussy about destination, and we're looking for the cheapest deal. Friends from NZ will probably travel with us on the way back to holiday with us, although I presume they'll need to book their own holiday from NZ.
    • Board basis? – NA in NZ as we will stay with family, but on our return sopover/holiday, we're flexible.
    • What your price range is. We're looking for the cheapest option.
    • Whether you require an in-flight meal. On 12 hour flights? I think so!
    • Are night-flights or stopovers acceptable? Yes, in fact probably preferable.
    • Any specific requirements – Our dates are not flexible as my husband's a teacher.
Thanks in advance for all assistance.
