Through a broker, chasing continuously! There was a hold up with a form (valuer made an error) but this has now been resolved. We've been told that the forms now all look fine but we're unlikely to get a response before Tuesday due to Bank Hoilday.0 -
Our mortgage offer arrived at home yesterday so fingers crossed it should be with the solicitors Tuesday (owing to the bank hols).
Another happy mover from Santander's continuous waiting to Halifax zipping things through.0 -
Hurray! We have been issued a Mortgage Offer today. Just received a call from the Broker
Apparently Halifax are sending it out today and it should be with us Tuesday with any luck might ACTUALLY be able to exchange next week! 0 -

Great news!! Felt like a massive weight off our shoulders when we got to this point.
Our mortgage brokers have said that the solicitors normally get their version of the mortgage offer letter 2-3 days after you get yours.
Have they already done the searches on your property then?0 -
Yes the searches all came back ok a week or so ago. The solicitors did them while waiting on the offer. The only reason it's taken so long to get to offer was this issue with the CML form.0
