One can sell anything online just need to know how :)

However stay within the truth. Otherwise the buyer may return it as "singificantly not as described" and you may end up paying postage each way, and Ebay/PayPal will almost always take the buiyers side.

With regard to the potential value of an iPhone 4S with "faults", the trade-in value with Apple is interesting. See:
    http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/reuse_and_recycle

The value for a scratch free 4S, 16 GB white version, network locked, with a fault is only £6.56. The same phone, unlocked and without a fault is £125

eBay prices for faulty 4S phones are surprisingly high compared to the above... Even water damaged ones fetch silly prices. So it doesn't seem to matter how honestly you describe a faulty iPhone 4S, they still appear to sell.

Make sure you record the serial and IMEI number and be aware that some buyers claim the item is not as described and return a different item for a refund... a way to off load a dodgy phone at your expense.
