Hi kingrulzuk bit of a novice not sold on eBay before and I want to be honest about the faults. What do you reckon a good price should be? I haven't a clue about this sort of thing. I really appreciate your advice.

good tip mobile junkie do u reckon £60 is a fair sale for a phone with my damage? x
As others suggest, take a look on Ebay and guage what they sell for. All mine are brand new and unused, so it's somewhat easier - though still requires a little research and judgement. I first check CEX prices for the appropriate condition/locked-unlocked prices (your will almost certainly be locked), then check out what they're going for on Ebay and put them on when listings are free for a high starting price (the last one didn't sell the first time round, but wen the second time when it was re-listed free.
CEX tends to offer the best prices, but I always add more since I'm selling direct and need to allow about 15% costs + postage. Ebay pays you through Paypal so you'll need to set up an account with them too. All a bit daunting at first but easy once it's all set up and you know what you're doing.0 -
good detailed advice thank you again
quick question, since I won't have managed to clear until months after the last payment date of the contract do you think they will still try to renew my contract? (As I handed in my notice already a month in advance. wouldn't make much sense to me if they did, but if anyone might know the answer thatd be great

As already stated you will need to ring to give notice on the 30th day before the end of the minimum term.....they don't accept advance notice so don't rely on them to action this .0

They do (or at least always used to, though sometimes made a fight of it); up to 60 days before the minium term. Just call them and ask to confirm in writing that they have taken notice to cancel it at the end of the minimum term.0

thanks for all your advice guys its been brilliant
the plan is to sell this phone and they've agreed to end the contract on 3rd July as planned, £30 installments to be on the safe side. In the mean time £10 jobbie from tesco incoming only. Job done good as gold.
Happy days
