CP Plus (split thread)

The charge notice I had showed my car driving up the approach ramp to the services and the second photo was of my car leaving the services. At no time did CP Plus show any proof that my car was parked for greater than the free period.
So I sent a reply asking for the proof in terms that I used when I was a traffic warden.
I also let them know that I would charge them administration costs should no proof be forthcoming.
I also stated at the bottom of the letter that until the proof was sent, that I reserve the right to keep the low fee period active.
I also requested various other details such as where the signs were, size of signs, most importantly the fees payable at the time of my visit.
As expected all this has been ignored so can I start charging administration costs?

Thanks for bumping this ancient thread with out of date info, I will ask a forum guide to split your post out to let this thread go back to the oblivion it needs to
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Woah you posted on a thread from 2009?!! What's wrong with the current threads on page one of the same forum this archive thread had nearly been deleted from.

Welcome to MSE :hello: I've moved your posts into a new thread so all info and responses can be kept in one place. :)
  • Thanks to everyone that jumped down my throat but if you bothered to read what I had posted you might have answered the question I posed.
I did ask if I could charge the Parking Company for my letters as they had laid down the precedence for charging me for their letters.
I know the same people won't get past 'everyone' on the first line but I really would like an answer

    Hi

To actually get anything out of them I think you would have to send the an LBCC and then initiate an MCOL. However others more knowledgeable may be able to advise more accurately.

On the issue of the thread. It is really important we don't resurrect old threads with out of date advice as newbies less familiar with the processes read them and go down the wrong route. It is also easier to keep to the principle 1 problem per thread so that the advice is tailored.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.

Sorry but it's fairly astonishing to see a hugely out-of-date 2009 thread dredged back to page one. A thread that old would have been auto-deleted forever, very soon, and now by bumping it, the old dated advice still exists for people to find when Googling, which doesn't help anyone. It's surprising when you think that it takes just one click to hop off any thread, and to page one to find the 2014 advice and threads. You could use 'forum jump' down the bottom of the page or click on the words in the breadcrumb trail (as mentioned in my signature which appears even on my ancient posts).

Anyway there are loads of current threads about claiming costs, easy to find by searching the forum on page one for relevant keywords, I found these:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4950959

...which include a link to the Parking Prankster's blog about laying the groundwork for a claim.
