    Morning all

I have to go and declutter DS from a large Northern City shortly.

But I am in flinging mood.

Nothing is shifting on fleabay and certainly nothing that warrants the amount of packaging I have on standby. Cardboard boxes have gone in the recycling and I am wondering what to do about the rest of it.

Well done for sorting the shower Bossy. I got to sleep at 3am. Dont mention the word sleepover to me. Is it just me? Am I a soft touch? I did have words with them eventually but they are nice kids and you dont want to be too strict with them. Anyhow, I dont think it would have made any difference - they would just not go to sleep. Sigh.

Trying to have a bit of down time this weekend. I may sort out a cupboard and put a few things on ebay. Hopefully the rain wont be too bad and I can get the teenagers out of my hair for the day but its not looking promising.

Have a good Saturday all x

Bossy you are one of the few people I wouldn't rant at, but thank you! xxx.. I realise you would give anything to have your lovely man back and I wish KH a million miles away.. I wouldn't be without my children for anything in the whole world but their dad I would wish a thousands plagues and painful deaths upon at the moment.. I am just fed up of him trying to upset my family and causing trouble for us all..

Todays mission... attack the back room!!!! I want that carpet up!!

Another one with a sleepness night here. Neighbours rowing, DH couldn't sleep due to change in shift and wasn't exactly quiet when he got up either (at 1am..)....finally got back to sleep and Littledog barked to go out at 8.20.

Going supermarket surveying with DH today. Exciting life, but probably no flying.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

Pouring here, washed some bits that go on the maiden anyhow.

I need to go and do my food shop next, big ones still asleep eta one more up.

Valli - remember that loads will be put off fleabay atm due to the security breach or can't use until they have changed their password.

I want to dump stuff at scrap store and chairty shop and get DH to go to the dump this weekend too.

Yeah I know, Dusty - but not very much of my stuff has been selling for months and months; and I have more packing than items atm, DS has promised to help me car boot it all this summer.

    Washing on line.

Well, he really is a KH so I think you are justified a good old rant X

I've sorted my corner cupboard and found microwave popcorn, we've just made up some jelly and I'm about to google Nutella recipes - we have a tub here but don't really use it. Have flung a few bits we won't use and generally put the rest back in some semblance of order!

We've had a hhc in the playhouse, took my rechargeable sweeper out and got in all the corners with the handbrush so that's looking all reasonable now. DD covered the dolly cot up "so they don't get scared" lol and DS picked up every bit of the play money and put it back in his till. So the "hotel" is all set for guests :D

They are nattering about being hungry, but only had one crumpet each so I think I'll do a brunch today. Will go set the sausages going in a minute.

Hello again, dogs walked (in the rain). I am now waiting for DH to be ready to go out. I am doing him a favour and he's taking forever, constantly on the phone to the paid stuff.

When we get back, I am going to security mark our belongings and rethread a necklace which is a favourite of DDs.

And she is not home yet and I am beginning to worry....probably about nothing.

How about an Italian Greyhound? They're the same shape as a normal Greyhound, but a lot smaller. *ducks in case nicki throws something*:D

I'm looking at rescue dogs but we can't have anything too big unfortunately. Knowing that they're a smaller breed, I'll keep that in mind when looking ;) Thank you.

I have used a matt emulsion by Cr--n called Soft Linen in almost every room, with feature walls in strong colours (antique gold in the LR, roasted pepper in the hall, chocolate in the bedroom....). It goes brilliantly with everything including white gloss and doesn't have the pinkish tinge of magnolia. Enjoy your decorating, nicki!

Thats my plan. Creamish coloured walls all over, with a feature wall in each room ;) DD is asking for a purple for her room, I'm undecided on my room (I was going to go purple but not now. Its already been baby pink when we moved in, then I painted it forget-me-not-blue, when Ex left I painted it cream all over and I'm not happy with any of those options:o I might go crimson so its not too purple but not too red either as I have purple bedding), the kitchen & bathroom are going to be pale colours, and I'm undecided about the livingroom as well :rotfl: Don't talk to me about white gloss though. I have a total of 6 smooth doors which need painting both sides, 2 panelled doors which need painting on one side, 8 door frames, 5 window sills, all the skirting boards, the outside parts of 4 louvre doors, a picture rail around the livingroom & lots of boxed in pipes in the livingroom all to paint :( I hate painting gloss, but a lot of it (especially in the livingroom & kitchen) hasn't been painted in 10 years so is very yellow. :( I also need to paint the outside of the back door and the bricks around the front door/ frame outside. Oh and I'm planning on turning a sorry looking wooden fire surround currently stained a dark colour, into a white gloss.

I have lots of decorating ideas, I think I need to get some paper out and the coloured pencils and get sketching them so I can finalise what I want. I just keep getting lost in the websites I'm looking at, for example I spent 3 hours last night just looking & comparing flooring options for the bathroom & kitchen! :o It'll be like being back doing graphics in school again :rotfl:

DD has gone out with ex, and I've told her I'm not recording any more programmes for her until she catches up on all the programmes she's already got on the DVR (about 31 hours worth of films & programmes, its half full!). She can so some sorting out while she's watching them ;)

My plan for today is to get downstairs straight again (more dishes which are breeding faster than I can clear them!), run the vacuum through again, and dust. Then I'm either going to iron, or I might delve under the stairs. Not sure which yet as it depends on the time. ;)

If its gone its done or not applicable.
