Good morning all
Brilliant gig by Fairport Convention last night. At 60+ I am enjoying doing all the things I didn't do in my youth!
Pigpen, you have my sympathy. Fathers have no right to mess up their children's lives.
Valli, have you thought about putting the packaging on Freecycle? Someone will snap it up.
I cleared the kitchen table this morning and then found that DH had strewn all his stuff over the DR table instead  He is in a bad mood again today, and I don't know what to do to make it any better
Heavy rain here, so gardening is off the flylist and work takes priority today. But I have already managed to
- finish the filing this morning
- sort out a couple of drawers in the process
- sort out some thoughts on work and email my colleague
- email DS2 and phone DS1: now awaiting replies from both
- email another person
- declutter DH to get himself measured for his SVR volunteer's suit
- decide what to have for lunch and tea.
Not much, but it's a start.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. (((Hugs))), sticks and spoons all round x0 -
Well it's HT plus I have this weekend to myself so I want to try and sort some stuff out. My BR is the major job as it's like a pigsty but everywhere needs a tidy and sort out. I've been out this morning but didn't really get what I wanted so I could have stayed in!

I'm looking at rescue dogs but we can't have anything too big unfortunately. Knowing that they're a smaller breed, I'll keep that in mind when looking
Thank you.

Poor Ted has an ear infection; he's brought a pot of antibiotics with him, which he happily takes wrapped in cheese, and a bottle of ear cleaner, which he hates with a passion.:( It takes both of us the administer it, Mr LW to hold him and me to actually clean his ears, and he has to wear his muzzle while we do it.
Thankfully he doesn't hold a grudge, and after getting half a dozen doggy-choc-drops afterwards, he's speaking to us again.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Aww kazw I bet it will seem really quiet without all your guests x
I've put DD old car seat up in the loft along with an enormous toy airplane that's been annoying me for 4 monthsand I've got the ironing board out. But not the iron :rotfl:
We've had a foot measuring session - DD shoe basket is overflowing (shopping granny keeps finding bargains) with different sizes. So we've worked out what fits. She seems to be 8.5 in one foot and 9.5 in the other  anyway, the too smalls are gone, and the too bigs are ready to go upstairs in her box for big things. Think DS has grown too - he has school shoes a size bigger and they've been enormous but now seem to fit. Which is good really as he's been in the same pair since September, and they are a bit trashed now.
So, shoe baskets more manageable. And I've dug out a few camping essential (wellie socks, fleece onesies, waterproof trousers, spare blankets).
Will have DS try his onesie on - might need to cut off the feetBossymoo

I haven't done much, walked the dogs.....can't rethread DD's necklace as I can't find my threading stuff which is really annoying and I CBA to go round security marking everything either. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow if I wake up with some GUAG.Spend less now, work less later.0
