So how are you claiming she scanned the wrong thing then if it only had one barcode on!0 -
1. Take the product back to sport direct.
2. Explain you have paid to little for the item, and have discovered that it has scanned the incorrect item/code.
3. Pay the difference.
4. Receive a receipt for the correct product.
5. Continue with life as though nothing happened.0 -
Things do come up cheaper at the till quite often in many shops - didn't you think to look at your receipt even out of interest to see if a discount had been applied? Sports Direct often have busy tills and I wouldn't be surprised if a t shirt was lying around, perhaps just returned by someone else, and the scanner picked that up. Mistakes have happened, both on the sales assistant's part AND yours. Is there anything even wrong with the sandals? Do they fit? Will you even need to take them back? Accept your cheaper sandals or call the manager to explain what has happened and see what he/she says. No need to rant about the incompetence of the girl who served you when you didn't do your bit either.0

Which she scanned and it brought up the wrong item.
I'm glad I got out of retail so I don't have to deal with idiots like you - how rude can you get? She's silly for doing her job?0 -
Sometimes staff have a sheet with list of bar codes on- she could have scanned the sheet and scanned the wrong code.or the barcode wouldn't scan and she's inputted the wrong number manually.you got them five pounds cheaper , and still you complain.0

What a truly embittered silly sod the OP is.
The type of customer that retail workers will happily make rude gestures and comments about....I'm doing it and i've never met the OP.
Try getting off the high horse.
If its such a drama take it back and pay the correct price you condescending plank0 -

How hard would it have been to be honest and say to the person on the till they made a mistake? Not that hard.0 -
So are you going to do the morally right and legal thing and return back to sports direct and pay the correct price?
Just to preempt the question being thrown back at me - yes I would.0
