Drivers on mobiles

I have issues with people talking on the phone while driving. I live on an S bend with an ornamental hedge fronting the garden.
Every now and again a car ends up in the hedge except for two that made it right into the garden. Mostly I come across the drivers shouting into mobile phones telling someone that they had a crash or lost concentration or so. It doesn't sound like they are phoning the breakdown people.
One of them knocked on the door at 9pm and asked to borrow a torch. It seems his phone was all over the landscape and he wanted to search for the bits. I assume the phone was not in his pocket when he crashed. It's not my fault your honour, they made me do it.0 -
No excuse for a person driving an abumlance to be on the phone. Theyre crewed by two people. Idiotic, reckless and suitably illegal. However not suitably pursued. But cant have coppers every where.0
