I know quite a few people who do this, first is my parents neighbours who until their daughter was 16 had a great marriage and no problems then the daughter started dating and got a part time job but refused to pay her parents a penny, then started college and got like 2 grand in one go and despite running up debts to her parents for loans when she was skint she spends 2 grand on a old banger of a car worth £200 at most, she is now 24 and never left home and broken her parents marriage, she got married herself which lasted a year, and still refuses to pay her parents money and has become obese with her greed.
2nd people I know is my mums best friend 19 year old daughter who was spoiled by her ex husband who is rich and lives abroad i.e every year she gets something like a ipad, macbook, hdtv etc bought for her by her father whilst the mum worked 3 jobs at one point and struggled to pay bills at that and now unemployed yet the daugher wants driven half a mile to work and back at her leisure, vanishes for days or even 2 weeks at a time once and turned up and just dumped her dirty washing on floor and told her mum to do it and doesnt give her mum any rent money despite putting the heating to max, eating her mums food, if her mum has alcohol around(she doesnt drink but has special occasions with guests) she either has all the leftovers stolen by daughter and drank, or before the meal she finds like the 2/3 bottles of wine missing and all the bottles now empty in her daughers room.
Sorry this is going on but I have another 2 or 3 cases to write about lol

If you let someone take advantage of you once, they will continue to do so. The only way to stop it is to put your foot down and not let someone walk all over you.0

Scenario 3, I have a friend who used to live on his own in a ok job and being able to afford a ps3, hdtv, a car on credit worth 7 grand and having enough money to treat himself to luxuries but not much better off than minimum wage, his mum gets diagnosed with cancer so he moves about 500 miles away to be with her, his stereotypical "scum chav" brother who is 25 now has never left home is a leech, even when he visited on holiday he got my friend to drive him like 100 miles away to raves and expect him to wait all night for him in car and NOT PAY PETROL! just wanted a free taxi service, after his mum became ill and he moved in he would "borrow" money from my friend and not pay back, and I forgot to say he has NEVER paid as much as £5 towards food and utilities and has a habit of cash going missing from house or anything like games consoles vanishing as he is a junkie addicted to cocaine. ketamine etc. anyway after their mum died my friend became the breadwinner despite travelling a 60 mile round trip to work every day, on minimum wage and has health problems like diabetes, severe depression etc he spends his own money on drugs.
My friend gave him the money for 3 months coal,. it was spent instead on 1 day of drugs and a xbox so my friend had to pay for electric heating, he was given a grand of a drug dealers money to look after due to police and he SPENDS IT then phones his dad who has been told he has 24 hours to live for a loan of a grand!!!, he writes about how poor he is on facebook all the time but also has pictures and posts about him at raves in London which cost £100 or more to get in and then nights in expensive London hotels, etc but the funniest was when he wrote about how mashed potatoes are a treat for him then 1 post up he writes about how he has just bought his ticket for a London gig(that cost £330)
Final scenario is short, my cousin is 21 and still lives at home and her mum has had her benefits reduced so has to pay for her own food and bills, their 15 year old autistic child, and her blind husband off £100 benefits and £20 the girl gives despite her buying herself a boob job last year, owning a BMW and doing modelling work and staying in expensive hotels. she says thats all she can afford!!! She has a ipad, a iphone, designer dresses etc.0 -

My family are kind to the point where my mum is over emotional and calls me her baby boy even though I am aged 30 and even when I worked full time getting like 9 quid a hour she asked if I was ok for cash, if I was short of food she can buy me shopping, even now she brings me kiddie sweets and new clothes(the most embaressing is underwear!)
The only thing I do admit is I grew up in a poor family so learned to be happy with what I had so when people take advantage it annoys me they have a entitled mentality0
