An interesting workaround! But a bit of a moral quandary... errrmmmm...
Is it the case that the airbags would fail to deploy if the warning light is on (or should be on)? I do wonder about this one as the light was on (intermittently) for about 5 years...Friendly greeting!0 -

You might also want to run it past your insurers...Is it the case that the airbags would fail to deploy if the warning light is on (or should be on)? I do wonder about this one as the light was on (intermittently) for about 5 years...
Indeed. If the light doesn't self-test, go out, and stay out - then the entire SRS - all airbags, seatbelt pretensioners - system is disabled.0
