Best way to sell MOT failure?

Hi,
I've got a '99 Audi A4 1.8 T Sport, it failed its MOT last year and is sat on my driveway for no good reason. I hate trying to sell cars and would appreciate some advice on what my best options might be, in you guys' humble opinions of course.
It failed on AirBag light, one suspension joint with excessive play, also has warnings on 2 x CV gaiters, 2 worn tyres and a coolant leak (the system pipe is actually broken).
Sounds like a treat huh?
The AirBag issue was undiagnosable by Audi techs so I've no idea how anyone could sort this. I also can't open the boot any more (all solutions found online look unappealing!). And I can't turn it over any more :(

Your thoughts please. Ideally I'd like to get the best price I can for it but happy to shift it asap for a marginal difference!

Thanks in advance
Friendly greeting!

Sounds like a scrapper. How much you hoping to get for it?
  • Was only hoping for spare parts value, around 400-500? no idea really.
for example, the door trims alone go for 20-25 each, 5 alloys, all other panels good, leather interior, ...

Your mot fail is worthless now and it could fail on a lot more things if you tested it again tomorrow, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for a scrap car.

Perfectly acheivable if you have the time and inclination to strip the parts off the car, advertise them etc.

Have you tried some of the online 'scrap my car' quotes? Will at least give you a baseline.

Charge the battery and get it running at least that will raise the value from total scrapper which it is just now.

Current value £150ish. Running £300-£400 perhaps?

    Scrap value probably about £140.

Whack on ebay, £20 fee should fetch a little more.
More if you can get it running. Flat battery?
