Coupon-mad wrote: »Jeez! Compassion you think? They have £165 of your money. Rarely read such a pile of drivel in my life - you actually think that is OK and even a good thing?! What a terrible outcome for you, horribly stung and out of pocket and yet coming here to try to convince us that PE are 'compassionate?! WOW.0

If it did PE have scammed him good time just like they do with many unfortunate suckersPPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

Op brought this whole situation himself through sloppy record keeping with DVLA and breaking the rules set out by the land owners agency. The result being a CCJ and PE agreed to liaise with the court to remove the record of the CCJ from her credit file...
........ so even if you don't agree with PEs practices or the 'fine' itself, there is no denying they did act reasonably in this other aspect.0 -
I know who I won't be seeking financial advice from.0

If it actually happened.
Either way I couldn't care less, have no sympathy with this particular poster and used to be a financial adviser myself so none of this jackanory rings true to me anyway. How could a financial adviser be that clueless about CCJs and then rush to pay off the perpetrators and praise them(!) instead of getting to the bottom of it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Secondly, I will not be claiming back the monies as I appreciate ParkingEyes compassion to go out of their way to contact the court and agree to request the judgement to be set aside. As much as it has cost me 165 for the ticket and 80 for the hearing.
I thought the fee for a set aside was £155?0 -
I guess everyone here who tried to help should give back the money joshfsc paid them for the advice.Je suis Charlie.0

Well done to ParkingEye! What a wonderful company they are.
I would gladly sell my home and its entire contents to help PE's profits.
Anyone refusing to pay their parking charge notices (based on a 100% genuine pre-estimate of loss) is an enemy of compassion.0 -
Hi I have a similar situation and received the same e mail today so does this mean I still have to go to court to get ccj set aside or is it settled ?0
