Well I now have a red door on my main shop page, if I click on an item the 'visit shop' door is blue...0

My door is red or blue depending on which page you're on. I read somewhere that ebay were changing the doors to blue so that they didn't "compete" for attention so much with the ads that are now plastered across the site. But as usual, they've done a half-assed job of it and it's not consistent all over the site. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

I, however, think it's a political statement in the run up to the election

I've got two shops running at the moment, the doors are both red, the sales are better on one than the other.
I suspect some little Ebay pixie had some blue paint to get rid of, when it dries sales will pick up again.
I do have rough patches of no sales and then inexplicably about half a dozen at once, at a random time too..0 -
I read a transcript of a conversation someone had with an eBay representative about this. They were told that it was to fit in with a colour scheme more geared to social media (?).
Anyway, all doors should be changing to blue but a seller will probably still see a red door on their own page even if this is not visible to buyers.0 -
