Didnt realise how popular the nexus would be - although for some reason i still lean towards the s4??? I may well end up tossing a coin
Thanks for the other suggestions, but im not going to look - I'm indecisive enough with out increasing my choices lol.
Does anybody here have the s4 and know if the keyboards on it have the numbers and punctuation marks on the main keyboard? I'm currently borrowing an old iphone, and its getting on my nerves having to go into a different screen to write numbers and punctuation?? I'm used to it all on one screen on my s2. This may be a deal breaker!
Yes it does have a row of numbers on the main default keyboard.0 -
Thanks, I know the numbers are there on my nexus pad, so assumed they would be on the phone. Just wondered if they were on the samsung. I don't understand why samsung stopped putting punctuation marks on their keyboard, its so much easier, one click rather than switching screens. I've had a look at some more current samsungs than my s2 and none of them have what i want
Yes, the keyboard could be a dealbreaker - its something that i will use a lot on the phone, where as memory and cameras are not so important to me. For what i use the phone for a more basic one would suffice, i just want a good one so it will last
Most things android are so much better than apple, in my opinion anyway, and this3Gs is doing nothing to persuade me otherwise (the only thing i secretly like is that its smaller) so easier to text etc with one hand...0 -

Side by side comparison

Short version
S4 has a slightly better camera, removable battery and micro SD slot.
N5 has a newer processor and stock Android so faster updates.
I have a N5 32gb and I must admit I'd have difficulty choosing between the two but as they are now so closely priced and although it's older I'd probably go for the S4 for the SD card and removable battery. But thats purely a personal choice as they are both very capable phones.0
