Unless you're wanting the companionship of a lodger I can't understand why if you're mortgage free and financially secure you would want to have someone else living in your home.

Why don't you try and reduce your work hours so you've got time to take care of the housework and cooking and maybe even enjoy life a a bit!... work to live don't live to work!

Why not just get a cleaner for a couple hours? If you want someone to cook an evening meal for you I'm sure there are people out there who would be paid for that (love how you assume your potential lodger is a 'her' though....do you think a woman is going to be completely comfortable living in your home for free but cooks and cleans for you?)

Well, I would pick a woman, because I want the domestic assistance.

I don't know... perhaps it depends how much housekeeping I expect? I don't make that much mess...

There is a shop called "cook" http://www.cookfood.net/ they make home made meals that are frozen.
Buy a months worth then microwave one every night, that covers your need for a home cooked meal.

Hire a cleaner to come in 7hrs a week & clean the place, it will cost approx £10 per hour.

Your idea of giving someone a place to stay in exchange for 70 quid a weeks worth of housekeeping & cooking is creepy.

A good cleaner will charge 20-25 quid per 2hrs, so you will only get a few hours of cleaning a week anyway from a live in & they would basically be cooking for you for free. Also how will you determine how they do this cleaning & cooking? If they also work full time elsewhere & have to work late or decide to go out for the night or away for a weekend, will you restrict their movements to ensure they meet their "obligations" to you.

Better you hire a cleaner & buy ready prepared meals. Or spend the £70 quid a week on a match.com membership & find a wife
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Ah, of course, only women can do domestic tasks can't they? I feel any woman who accepted your offer would very soon tire of your sexist attitude and start looking for an alternative place to live.
