    Morning all

DH and DS3 away to watch the T20 at Lords
DS1 given DS2 a lift to the bank with his passport and then DS2 to cycling and DS1 to cricket.

I need to try to be disciplined and not spend the entire day gardening. I have heaps of paperwork to do and have done very little flying this week.

Friend coming around at 1 for a cuppa - I'm expecting lots of tears as she is not in a good place, trying to decide if sympathy or straight talking is going to be best for her, I can do either.

Right WM is on with wash no 1. Going to give the bathroom a quick clean and have a shower whilst it finishes.

DW emptied. Plastic (think Tupperware) put away; 3 loads on line, load 4 is in (my bedding).

Am much amused by Dusty wanting to be disciplined an NOT garden :rotfl: tbh though I could quite happily have another session in mine but there isn't time, though I might do some later!

    Yet again I couldn't sleep past 7.30 :(
I've been to feed my friends cats and my next door neighbours cat has been in for breakfast
I did a load of washing over night but it's really over cast here so not sure about putting it out now :(
I still have loads on the lists to do :( but at least the bathroom looks good :D just the floor to do. I hate doing the floor, it's not big enough to use the steam mop so I have to do it on my hands and knees
I've stripped the girls beds (they were meant to do it yesterday ), they can remake them when they come home.
The lady next door but one has put washing out so I'm going to finish my coffee and put mine out :)

Morning all, just. I've had a fairly busy morning, walking the dogs & shopping en route, hoovering right through, putting clean bedding on DDs bed, and two washloads sorted. Actually that doesn't seem very much at all!

Anyway, I need to do some kind of recovery thing for the pc, go out later to have new tyres fitted, then spend the rest of the afternoon and evening in the garden.

Will take the dogs out much later when its cooler.

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

I'm pottering inside now too, there is no breeze out there at all. So peaceful, though. Made some tuna salad wraps for lunch.

I got all sorts of stuff I don't need up at town. I'm supposed to be curbing my spending, but not doing a very good job of it. I have put some bunting just inside the playhouse door, though, to remind me to duck, lol, I definitely needed that!

I think I will write a list for our camping trip. We are only going for 2 days but my mum is getting a bit carried away - a list might rein her in a bit!

It's fabulous here and therefore much too hot to sit out in it. Unlike you Pigpen, there is not such thing as too much heat or sun for me, but I tend to stick to indoors and the shady bits outside, like Morribunds where I'm off to now to buy picnic stuff for an outdoor performance of Much Ado in the Royal William Yard tomorrow.

I've just spent two hours cleaning, leather feeding, polishing and waterproofing my lovely dog-walking Dock$iders. I think I've had them seven years and only cleaned them twice and both times it was in my normal slapdash way. Today they got total love from me, with the help of OH's shoe cleaning kit. They look fabulous, so they're going on my hooves to match my newly smart French cotton trousers. I may be getting over my 'slob' phase - 58 years and counting.
    Better is good enough.
