Bit of a niggle about a friend. WWYD?

I am terrible about keeping up with people - even family! so I think I may be like your friend. I am so pleased to hear from people and will make the effort to meet up, buy gifts etc. I know it sounds awful - but its 'out of sight out of mind' with me. I know its a flaw in me, but I just don't remember to keep in touch with people! I live in the 'here and now' and my calendar is my best friend , without it peoples birthdays would get ignored, I would forget parties, appointments etc. it isn't because I don't care - its because my mind is 'elsewhere'.0

when you meet does she come to you or do you go to her?
(sorry only read the first page so apologies if this has already been mentioned.)
if she comes to you she may not want to invite herself over and feel like shes imposing on you?0
