Sorry to interrupt you lovely people - I'm usually in lurkdom but I've been reading Fairclaire's story. Have you tried using Bio Oil on your son's feet - it worked for me when I had persistant athlete's foot that fugal creams failed on - it sorts the dry areas and the athletes foot too without stinging. As for minging smells, try dabbing his feet with surgical spirit on the parts that are not sore - it works on the mens feet in our house and their trainers are the sort that you wouldn't want to keep indoors unless you have a peg on your nose.
