In all fairness fc started a thread late last year. we should show our friendliness and let one of the newer members to the thread start the new thread. its too easy to keep letting the established chatterboxes to keep starting threads.
I would like to see chicken start it. :)

this is not political as fc knows I am a good friend of hers. :)

ps, tweets has done a good job with bringing the elite + plus back together, so at least let this thread run to 10,000

As I said earlier, I like most people, don't mind who starts it as long as it's peaceful, harmonious and filled with glitches :T

Just got a leafet about this through the letterbox, if anyone's interested...

    Centre of English Studies
    http://www.ces-schools.com/
"Host families urgently required - excellent rates of pay, earn around £120 for each student."
English-language schools in London, Oxford, Worthing, Leeds, Dublin. Looks like all of them are looking for host families - click on school name and then Accommodation for contact details.

I know a few people who've done this (for local uni, not CES) and really enjoyed it - and earned money too:) And I've a couple of friends who've been 'hosted' as it were, great way to learn English living with a family.
