Does anyone know how to get coke stains off a fabric sofa please?

I tried simple warm water sponge off last night and it has made no difference at all.

I'm gonna try Bissell tomorrow but wondered if anyone had any other tips please?

Sorry no:( take it the "house sitters" have left that

This is American, but you get the drift with the soda,Bubbs is right, try washing up liquid, but with cold water as in this bumph.

I'm sure you're not supposed to use warm water on a stain as it sets it more, either that or I made it up and it's an old wives tale lol.

Blot the soda with a paper towel, being careful to lift the soda and not rub it into the couch. Let the couch dry thoroughly.

    2
Mix 1 tablespoon of mild dish soap and 2 cups of cold water in a bowl.
    3
Dip a clean rag or sponge into the soapy solution until damp. Do not oversaturate it.
    4
Dab the stain with the solution, then gently rub it in circular motions. Add more soap as it becomes absorbed. Repeat, as necessary, until the stain is almost totally lifted; only a faint trace of soda might remain.
    5
Remove any soap residue and the faint trace of the soda stain with a clean rag or sponge dipped in cold water only. Let the area dry.
    6
Brush the couch with a soft bristle brush if the upholstery is matted from the moisture. Lightly brush the couch in both directions until the nap returns.

You could try adding vinegar to Some WUL. Apply a little at a time and keep blotting with a dry cloth. Vinegar is wonderful stuff!

I'd never heard of those, they seem handy little things.

Wet Magic Eraser, Squeeze 3-4 times to activate the cleaning solution, erase those dirty marks! When using on surfaces in direct contact with food, be sure to rinse the surfaces after use.
Do not use on skin or other parts of the body. Using on skin will likely cause abrasions. Test a small area with light pressure before use. Not recommended for following surfaces: high gloss, polished, dark, brushed, satin, faux, bare/polished wood, copper, stainless steel, non-stick coating, or vehicle body. Rinse required for dishwashing and surfaces in direct contact with food - Do not use with chlorine bleach and other household cleaners.
