I have done an order but only because I go through so much hot chocolate. I don't need coffee at all. We couldn't get chocolate in the glitch. I have also ordered some milks because the kids keep nicking the milks from the lattes to top up their chocolates
It's definitely worth it for those that missed the glitch or didn't get their machines until afterwards or, if like me, they want hot chic.

Aldi do a Spanish Drinking Chocolate, in their weekly offers occasionally; well worth looking out for - the best IMHO:)

Those of you who have had a 'Come Round' party before - do they ask for photographs of the party? If I have a fish finger sandwich party, with the kind of friends I have  it will cost me a lot more than the cost of 60 fish fingers to keep them fed and watered for an evening :beer:

Is this your first come round party...ive done a few and I think its my 8th...usually the requirement is that you need to provide at least one photo of your guests getting into the party spirit.

Firstly you need to submit your email addresses so the guests can be invited, you wont get a party pack unless you have provided those details...then its a case of planning your party and waiting for your party pack to arrive. They usually are sent in the week before the party weekend although some of them dont get received until the day before so it can be a bit hit and miss...theres usually an assortment in the pack....sometimes its useful and sometimes it can be a bit random but you will probably need to add a few things to it or as we do, suggest that your guests bring a bottle or something similar.

The contents and quality of the packs do vary from party to party and some have been brilliant...others not quite so good but comeround usually tell you a day or so beforehand on facebook whats included in the pack so you can plan round buying anything else you need/want.

Usually there are balloons bunting and something like whistles for your guests and maybe a few random bits that are sponsored by other providers.

We were talking last night and wondering what might be included and perhaps the best we could come up with was a frying pan!

There are also competitions to enter as part of the party and the prizes are usually very good but its up to you how involved you get.
After the party each guest will probably get a follow up questionaire to ask their thoughs on the party and how it went.
You are able to keep the contents of the party pack you receive as a thank you for hosting.

anything else you might want to know and I'm happy to help if I can...but generally its quite nice to get a few friends together and have a goos natter over whats been sent!!!

    ....oh BTW...

    Morning all...

I buy all 3, but yes the kids complain that the suchard comes up short. That's why they've been nicking the milks from the lattes to top them up . Ive ordered extra milks this time. No problems with the other ones. Is it just this one that it happens with? I know DM had a dodgy machine that was measuring the water out wrong and he got a replacement.
Poor OH, he's the only one that drinks latte and even then it's not often. He went to make one the other day and all the milks were gone.:o

They all seem a little short tbh. I thought this was maybe the way they are! The suchard are ridiculous though, one mouthful and its gone! Maybe ill give tassimo a ring. Thanks
