Good morning all.
Again thanks to all the posters for the gliches and Savvy for his hard work in item comparisons.
I have tried to keep a spreadsheet of my savings this month as sometimes all I see is a growing mountain of stashes, but I have been more choosey in participation recently and when seen in b&w the savings are impressive
Fair Claire I am sorry your nap wasn’t quite as expected but it was an excellent topic of discussion as was the sock
Nanny thoughts are with you and your family
Bubbs glad your hand is improving and your stiches are out
Westie, it never seems to amaze me how this thread crosses with my RL. Yesterday I signed up for a MH awareness course It’s not till October as earlier courses are full. I am seeing this more and more in the workplace and most often it is met with very little sympathy
.
Zippy what a relief, My DH was paid off about about 10 years ago from the local council He has a small pension and works part time in the summer but it took him months to get over the loss of companionship
Happy birthday to jelly and durham5
Flo congrats on the new job
Hugs to anyone I have missed and who needs them and I have noticed that aau is quite rightly not posting too much, so he must be studying
Finally to Jax thanks for letting us know there are DTD bacon joints locally and well done on clearing your mortgage
Enjoy your day Its looking like sunshine here so happy shopping to those venturing out0 -
Happy Birthday Jelly Biactol:bdaycake:
Happy Birthday durham05:bdaycake:
And happy birthday to anyone on here that does not quite have the nerve to admit to being another year olderWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

My youngest was the same and I remember on holiday one year my dad threw the kids trainers out on the balcony because they smelt (it rained).
Fc does your ds2 put clean socks on for bedtime?
I think the worse thing about kids socks is the places you find them. My boys used to fling them off feet and catapult them into all sorts of places including the lampshade a few times.
Hope operation sock goes ok and you wake up before ds2 to replace the offending articles.

Hi V, I seem to miss you a lot lately, I hope your ok. I have anti fungal cream that I'm applyingIve managed a whole week of taking the socks off and getting them back on without him knowing a thing!
Things are improving, I know it sounds extreme but it's easier than trying to convince him to lose the socks. That's just not going to happen.
Good morningit's Friday :j:j Not just any Friday.....It's half term after today. Yay! :j
