Hi guys, i am hoping one of the handy men amongst the elite can help me out here....

I am wanting to buy a cordless screwdriver but have no idea which one i want, i have looked on www and have confused myself now.....

what is the difference in performance between 3.6v, 4.8v, 10.8v ect etc...

anyone know of a decent one cheapish anywhere?

    tia

    Good morning all :)

The difference is the power of the drill/driver

    like a 500w hoover compared to a 1000w hoover

This one in sainsbobs is good value for the money :)

The only one within reasonable distance is Lidless so I will try there. I've been thinking about a fryer for ages and the Elite reviews finally convinced me - I've just managed to clear a suitable space in my tiny kitchen as I know I need to leave it out ready to use. If I stick it in the utility room I won't bother getting it out!

I think someone suggested shaking the chips in a bag with just a tiny bit of oil? Trial and error I guess until I get it just right.

That was me :o. I use 2-3ml of the flora cuisine 500ml for £1 - We think it adds a nicer flavour than oil PLUS (it's a big plus once you get used to it) if you use spray oil or ordinary oil it seems to disappear so you have to spray more when you turn chips whereas this seems to coat better & you can still see it's on them. You'll probably use it almost daily instead of using oven. It's surprising how much you can do in it. It's REALLY ideal for 2 people. Although we initially thought the basket was too small to do much in I've found that I often add fish/chicken on top of chips when they are half or 1/3 done & it cooks plenty for the 2 of us.

    Morning all

    That is a bummer :(:(

I've never heard that expression before btw :o

Similar here, it was awful weather all last week - the sun arrived yesterday and I've struggled to get out of bed for 2 days as I've come down with lurgy

Keep forgetting to ask - abailey and PD how are getting on with the non smoking? Hope it's going well

Thanks for asking Mildred - I hope that PD's doing better than me with it, I was back to smoking at the weekend after a few upsets last week, though much less than before.

I'm back trying to stop today, but the cravings are so bad (even with the nicotine thingies) that I can't concentrate on work :(

Oh well, I'll keep trying :)

Hope you're feeling better from the lurgy soon

Many thanks for the wise words David. I know I'm getting a bit obsessed with trying to work all this out and keep up with everything. If you don't do many glitches, what do you do?

Can't wait to read David.'s reply. :rotfl:

If I remember rightly stripes and dots do the job :)

As for 585, I think I shall have to discontinue my ambition of doing it without boosters
I save up my daily spin the wheel thingy, have to tried the owl chappie. those levels drive me mad as I keep forget to keep the owl balance and he falls off the scales.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
