I probably haven't helped things, I always pick up whoopsied packs of chillies for pennies, they go in everything he cooks for himself. And he grows his own too. :rotfl:

I also have done quite well when As and Sainsbobs had cheap sauces last couple of years, like the Nandos extra hot, Reggae Reggae sauces etc, I always buy them. :o

But I don't think he can taste anything if he doesn't have some sort of spice added. :rotfl:

Funny though he never puts sauce or anything on steak, he says he likes to taste the meat.

No its my mum that still has it:rotfl::rotfl: i know what you mean about asking for back:(

I did realise, I was referring to age of the cot sheets as in being mine when I was a baby. :o

My mum had them for me, I used them for all 3 of my girls and now they have been passed on to next generation. :money:

And they are still white maybe not quite as bright as new ones but who would know. ;)

    Well done LFAB. :T:T:T

I am back on the 5:2 wagon, not sure how many times I have fallen off now. I really wanted to get down a dress size for my 25th wedding anniversary, it looked possible beginning of year but I am not so sure now. :o

I did get down to my target weight - but its an absolute s** to keep the weight off ! I don't overeat exessively on 'normal days' but I'm still havng to do 2 fasts a week to keep the pounds from piling on.

Yesterday morning I weighed 9 st 7 lbs (fast the previous day). This morning I was up to 9 st 7.5 lbs - slice of toast for breakfast, moderate portion of pasta with chicken and mushrooms at lunchtime and a small portion of apple and blackcurrant pie last night. OK, so not wildly healthy or low calorie but the food itself could only have weighed 1lb at most and I widdled for England all day and in the night. So where the hell has 2.5 lbs come from ?

Its fine Nerfy - your boy is in a completely different situation and I don't blame you one little bit for what you are doing. I was talking more generally about parents and children who really should know better. Where my grandchildren are concerned I have always been far more 'daft' than their parents !
