    Good Morning :)

    Lovely and sunny here :j:j

Am I the only member of the Elite who doesn't buy sun cream :o
I have in the past and I never tan even when been holidaying abroad. I come home to comments was it raining in Turkey , Malta , Spain etc :rotfl::rotfl:because I am still pale :(

Don't seem point in wasting money on sun cream when it doesn't do anything :D

The cream keeps you pale, and as well as protecting against all sorts of unseen nasties. I burn with factor 50 on so I'm very aware of what would happen if I didn't use any at all. When DH went to Barcelona on his stag do last year, his mates were dark/olive skinned so didn't bother with cream, and he felt embarassed to be the only bloke putting it on. As he is like me colouring-wise, he ended up with the most awful yellow swollen blisters on his shoulders, they looked so painful and raw, and took weeks to go down. Even now he still has slight scarring and lots of freckles, so he's going to have to be really careful from now on :(

Good morning all - sun protection definitely applied here as I am very pale and burn at the slightest hint of sun :)

Any other cool pale skin tones on here? If so looking for recommendations for make-up. Most ranges their lightest shades nearly all have a yellow base which just doesn't look right - hopefully one day I will find the perfect match!

Me! Me! I use Bare Minerals 'fairly light' and it's great, it blends in really well and doesn't look TOO pale. I was actually surprised because the woman at the counter said 'very light' would be too pale for me, which is the first and last time I'll ever hear that :rotfl:

I did wonder if I should have cut open the bottom of my mum's sofa and chairs before it went to be dumped as it didn't have any fire safety labels. I don't know what stopped me. :o

When my dad had dementia we were finding fivers in all sorts of odd places. He started putting them in his shirt pockets never had before, and my mum washed a few and found them on the grass when she got the washing in. Good job their garden is pretty protected from the wind.

I did say to the lads who collected it, it might be worth looking, I just couldn't do it myself. :o

Your DH sounds a bit like mine! My DD's don't really like dad's cooking!

He is a nightmare sometimes Busylizzie, what he considers not to be spicy. I am sure he has deadened his taste buds. :( When we go to the caravan he does the cooked breakfasts separately as he adds chillies to his. :o

I am quite pale and don't tan only burn. I use Avon, the ivory and shell are not too bad. The pale girl out of Girls Aloud does a range for really pale skin but I don't know how good it is or how much it costs.

    Feeling :j this morning.
I've managed to lose my target of 1 stone :D

Now to keep it off :rotfl:

    Well done LFAB. :T:T:T

I am back on the 5:2 wagon, not sure how many times I have fallen off now. I really wanted to get down a dress size for my 25th wedding anniversary, it looked possible beginning of year but I am not so sure now. :o

I started out on the 5:2 as well but didn't last very long at that :o
I just went cold turkey and that was it! No sweeties, crisps, chocolates, fizzy juice and started doing the 30 Day Shred and it's worked for me :) It's been bloody hard at times I'm not going to lie :rotfl:
But I still allow myself little treats and I'm finding it a whole lot easier now I've settled into a routine with it.

Stick with it and you'll get there, anything is possible :)
