I walk in and about 40 family and close friends were all in there singing happy birthday,minutes later I get a " you had better have this present then" and it was my son from Australia, who had popped over on Friday, sadly hes going home tomorrow,best thing of all, I had my 3 children with me, the first time for 6 years weve all been together..

I saw it on one of those discovery channels.
After the drops and hopefully for you the optic nerve is long enough or it gets a bit medieval they just pop a teaspoon under your eyelid and gently ease the eyeball out. Well they gently ease to start with

Then they just make a small incision on the nose side of the eye ( less chance of the scar being visible afterwards) push everything out from the other side a bit like shelling peas, do what they need to do and then try and get it all back with the cutest little funnel.
