Thanks for the new thread Tweets. I feel i want to share the past 6 days with the whole world ,please bear with me.I have had the most wonderful, yet very emotional time,on Saturday it was my 60th,and I wanted it to be very low key, but on Wednesday my oh told me to pack my bag for 2 nights, walking shoes and umbrella,we were leaving at 11am, I knew he had something planned but where i didnt know, half an hour on the road he handed me an envelope with hotel in Kensington, and river cruise booked. We had a fantastic time,Arrived home Friday, had a friends party to go to... all good,Sat day loads of phone calls, text of family and friends which was fab. Sat night... we we off out for a meal to a posh place in town, then to meet up with friends later so I thought,oh suggested we call at a pub a mile away first as he needed to speak to someone, no probs... I walk in and about 40 family and close friends were all in there singing happy birthday, minutes later I get a " you had better have this present then" and it was my son from Australia, who had popped over on Friday, sadly hes going home tomorrow, best thing of all, I had my 3 children with me, the first time for 6 years weve all been together..

    Truly amazing.

    :j

    So happy for you.

We lost the white one in our privet hedge when my son was tiny and found it about 10 years later when we were cutting the hedge.

    HI:hello:

Glad you like your hair and I look forward to seeing it tomorrow :)
My hair desperately needs cutting and I am more than happy for your DD3 or others to do mine so I will look into the college idea. Do you know how long you usually have to wait for an appointment? And is it on set days? Thank you x

Thanks TH, I will give you details tomorrow as family and friends get preferential rates. ;)

I can let you know DD3's times and you won't have to wait she can book you in. Thank you. :A

Anyone fancy a game.....and no I'm not talking about cheese charades or finger Olympics......:rotfl:

In celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest......how about nominating a country to each poster...taking in their personality traits etc

    For example

Do we have any men who would be big down under?

    Nerfy is obviously Dutch

Any nominations for Germany ....or Iceland ....do we have any ladies who would like to be Swedish ......

    What do you think:)

Savvy has to be Bosnia and Herzegovina just because it has the most letters in it :D

DS1 had a whole set of them as a child, think they talked if you pressed their middle.
I vaguely remember the pink one packed up and had to be thrown in the bin as it wouldn't stop talking :rotfl:
