Thanks for the new thread Tweets. I feel i want to share the past 6 days with the whole world ,please bear with me.I have had the most wonderful, yet very emotional time,on Saturday it was my 60th,and I wanted it to be very low key, but on Wednesday my oh told me to pack my bag for 2 nights, walking shoes and umbrella,we were leaving at 11am, I knew he had something planned but where i didnt know, half an hour on the road he handed me an envelope with hotel in Kensington, and river cruise booked. We had a fantastic time,Arrived home Friday, had a friends party to go to... all good,Sat day loads of phone calls, text of family and friends which was fab. Sat night... we we off out for a meal to a posh place in town, then to meet up with friends later so I thought,oh suggested we call at a pub a mile away first as he needed to speak to someone, no probs... I walk in and about 40 family and close friends were all in there singing happy birthday, minutes later I get a " you had better have this present then" and it was my son from Australia, who had popped over on Friday, sadly hes going home tomorrow, best thing of all, I had my 3 children with me, the first time for 6 years weve all been together..

Aww how lovely. I filled up. Glad you had such an amazing birthday xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

No need to apologise, I'm not upset at all. I was giving my opinion about the thanks thing.

I don't think it's that people are not impressed with the return of so many old posters. I'm sure everyone welcomes more posters and more glitches. The more the merrier.
It's rather that to a lot of people it would seem that the return of so many old posters is more about having a go at and trying provoke one member of the thread in particular. I'll point out that I'm not that poster's greatest fan at times, but if I see anything I don't like I try to pass it by.
I think it has got totally out of hand now and people who have complained of being bullied in the past are becoming the same thing themselves.....but this time there a real 'gang' mentality about it. I personally think it has gone too far. The point has been made and there's nothing to gain from keeping it up anymore :(

It makes the regular posters on the thread uncomfortable and it's worth remembering that whilst all the old posters have been absent from the thread, new posters and other existing posters have kept it going. Some of the new posters are just as good at finding glitches, it hasn't exactly been a glitch free zone. It's also worth remembering that a lot of newer members of the thread don't know the history here and are oblivious to what's going on.

So yes, it's great to have all posters here.....old and new, as long as no one is using the thread as a battleground.

Just my opinion, apologies to anyone who doesn't like it

I was going to reply to individual points but got bored so yes I agree

You're all good Mimi! I see you as the male version of tweets, and like her haven't a bad bone in your body!:D:beer:

Thanks fella. You are too kind. That's a lovely compliment as tweets is one of the nicest people on here. Thank you very much. :A:A

I'm probably too thick to know about all the fallings out. To be honest, I'm far too pre-occupied trying to work out the APG shopping lists or begging for help that it goes straight over my head.

Oh and finally, Tosco have a nice goody bag going again if you buy any / pick up a prescription from their pharmacy. It really does depend on who (or what kind of dinosaur) is manning the tills. Sometimes they just let you have one if you ask nicely, other times they expect you to spend £25 first!
