I don't think it's that people are not impressed with the return of so many old posters. I'm sure everyone welcomes more posters and more glitches. The more the merrier.
It's rather that to a lot of people it would seem that the return of so many old posters is more about having a go at and trying provoke one member of the thread in particular. I'll point out that I'm not that poster's greatest fan at times, but if I see anything I don't like I try to pass it by.
I think it has got totally out of hand now and people who have complained of being bullied in the past are becoming the same thing themselves.....but this time there a real 'gang' mentality about it. I personally think it has gone too far. The point has been made and there's nothing to gain from keeping it up anymore
It makes the regular posters on the thread uncomfortable and it's worth remembering that whilst all the old posters have been absent from the thread, new posters and other existing posters have kept it going. Some of the new posters are just as good at finding glitches, it hasn't exactly been a glitch free zone. It's also worth remembering that a lot of newer members of the thread don't know the history here and are oblivious to what's going on.
So yes, it's great to have all posters here.....old and new, as long as no one is using the thread as a battleground.
Just my opinion, apologies to anyone who doesn't like it
Hear you fc and understand where you are coming from. But I sense something rather different. A kind of growing entente cordiale, a new beginning.
MSE is big enough for everyone and it will be lovely if all can post equally without fear or favour. So a kind of amnesty? No more trying to score points, no more "sides"?
I welcome these folk back because it is thanks to many of them that this thread exists at all and this thread has made a huuuuuge difference to my life -can't ever forget that and will always be grateful for it. It does not detract in any way from what has come since :T

Oooops. Hope I didn't get anyone's backs up with my post. It wasn't my intention. I don't know about all this gang warfare and what not as I only dip in now and then trying to work out what to get with the APG glitches folk so kindly post (and get it wrong most of the time anyway, lol). So apologies in advance if I have upset anyone.
On a brighter note and for the meat eaters, Quidco are offering £1 cashback if you buy the Taste Inc Burger from Morrisons. It's currently £1 in Morrisons and you can redeem x 3, so 3 free burgers. They might horses in them but if they are free, what the hell!0 -
And how is the babedacious Bubbs? Are you recovered now love?0

Thanks for the new thread Tweets. I feel i want to share the past 6 days with the whole world ,please bear with me.I have had the most wonderful, yet very emotional time,on Saturday it was my 60th,and I wanted it to be very low key, but on Wednesday my oh told me to pack my bag for 2 nights, walking shoes and umbrella,we were leaving at 11am, I knew he had something planned but where i didnt know, half an hour on the road he handed me an envelope with hotel in Kensington, and river cruise booked. We had a fantastic time,Arrived home Friday, had a friends party to go to... all good,Sat day loads of phone calls, text of family and friends which was fab. Sat night... we we off out for a meal to a posh place in town, then to meet up with friends later so I thought,oh suggested we call at a pub a mile away first as he needed to speak to someone, no probs... I walk in and about 40 family and close friends were all in there singing happy birthday, minutes later I get a " you had better have this present then" and it was my son from Australia, who had popped over on Friday, sadly hes going home tomorrow, best thing of all, I had my 3 children with me, the first time for 6 years weve all been together..
