I applied for the Classic card on the 5th May, to try and get the ball rolling in improving the credit history.
I got an online acceptance, and I digitally signed the credit agreement at the time.
I got my pin today, and will wait to see if the card follows.
I was offered an eye watering 69% APR. (Which makes me wonder if I will actually get an account as its such an obscene APR)
Naturally I have no intention of using it as a credit card beyond paying for groceries and paying off in full.
But if it comes, I at least can start getting some greenery on the credit report for when the defaults finally fall off.

I got the same one at the same APR
Don't worry it is legit and the APR means nothing if you pay in full the balance on your statement each month.
The fact you got the pin number means the card should arrive in a couple of days.
    My credit limit was £250
    Hope that helps

Yes, it did make me gulp a bit.
Good deterrent not to keep a balance on it!

    Presumably you have no defaults.
I still have 3 active ones, plus 2 accounts with late markers or AP

One day I will have a decent savings pot and a good credit file!

I have 1 default for £198 which is 3 years 10 month old unsettled. From what I heard the older they get the less and less impact it has.

I applied for a card from Aqua the other week and it took 11 days to receive the card and pin for a limit of £500, During that time I didn't hassle them I just left it to take its course, what will be will be.

I going to do the same thing and just wait and see , all i really want to know is if i have been one hundred percent accepted or are they just messing me about.

Although if i was declined there's no way the online application would of went through and i would not have received the confirmation email saying We’re pleased to tell you your application was received for processing , so i guess i'll just have to wait and see :(

  • Well i couldn't help myself , i phoned Aqua again today and i finally got a straight answer from them which was i got accepted and i should have everything within the next few days :D

The limit is 300 which is not bad for starting off and i'm definitely going to stay on top of the payments to hopefully get a limit increase down the line.

Pay in full and I see no reason why there will be no increase in 4 months (Aqua are well known for doing this)

Remember to keep paying in full, to avoid interest.
