    Which part?

If motorists are reminded of the time limits and then those who get charge notices receive help to fight them then it's being proactive and reactive.

Or did you mean the green box?

    Maybe fisherjim, maybe.

I suppose I was wondering to myself exactly how do these operators go about gathering their info. For instance do they have someone in every car park collecting reg numbers? No that would be too expensive for them.

I think there was another poster who mentioned that if the reg number isn't visible then maybe these vehicles wouldn't be picked up.

That could be one possible option. Wouldn't really cost the parking operators anything then though would it?

Have we been reduced to incitement Mrs A? Tch Tch.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

It's like that philosophical thing that "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?".

If a car enters the car park without a visible number plate does PE suffer a loss?

    Hi everyone

"make sure if you park somewhere where there is a parking operator involved then DO NOT go over the specified amount of time"

    Tips to help:

Take a note of the time of entering the parking area, even better write yourself a small note and put it on the dashboard just as you would if you parked in a pay to stay car park with the leaving time - this will create a psychological reminder to help you.

Set the alarm on your phone / watch

Whatever method you use make sure it's something which will grab your attention.

Make sure you know the time you need to leave by -

Whatever you do DO NOT go over the specified time allowance.

Get a grip luv! Haven't you got a pile of ironing to be getting on with?
Go and post some picture of kittens on facebook and not get out of your depth... there's a good girl. :)

Should you take offence (none meant)....that's how patronising you sound.
    Unbelievable!
