I use ADSL24 http://www.adsl24.co.uk/ .

£19.99 per month (1 month contract). >8mbps.
Monthly limit of : >30gb peak + >300gb off peak.
(Off-peak is defined as 22:00 to 08:00 weekdays and Friday 22:00 through to Monday 08:00)

They also have excellent customer service if you have any problems.

Ive been with Virgin Media for 8 years, (formerly Cable/Wireless formerly NTL). Customer service is atrocious, and at 25p a min to report a fault with them is scandelous. The BB I had at 20meg was and still is only kicking out at less than 125kps, (UNRESTRICTED). Ive had to downgrade to 4meg, just to get 1meg service with them. My advice, KEEP CLEAR of Virgin Media. They are just not worth it anymore.

There is a known issue with some modems at the minute after the 20meg increase .
