I got sent a copy DVD when I thoguth it was real! Not only is it a copy but it has no sound! What can I do?

I presume this wasnt listed in the item description?
has the seller offered to refund?
if not
report to ebay. leave neg feedback, ?claim money back off paypal

yes, as he says 100% quality and sound. but he doesn`t say that its genuine or a copy. so ask for a refund and if no luck then claim back with paypal and report him.
try using the VERO thingy..

Looking at the auction it does rather scream copy, the fact it mentions the quality and a full menu on the disc.

However, it is strictly against ebay terms to sell pirates, and it breaks UK law as well so ask for your money back and report him to everyone as others have already suggested.

If you paid by paypal claim back through them for item not as described.

Also complain to Trading Standards (check here to find your local office) as the seller will be infringing the Trade Marks Act. Don't worry no come back on you- as not illegal in UK to buy (whether knowingly or not).

This series hasn't been released on sale and there is no release date for it as yet. So you will not get an original. If you want a copy to watch ask the seller to exchange and then buy the original when it's released.

That said I do not condone copyright theft.

I presume it wasn't you that left the positive feedback on 28th April for the same item saying "Not 100% picture and sound quality as advertised but I suppose OK for 3 quid, Ta"?????

Actually, if you look further through the pages you will find more of the same, with new users leaving positive feedback, but saying this item is a copy.

Moral of the story is:

ALWAYS READ THE FFEDBACK CAREFULLY AND DON'T JUST GO ON THE SCORE

If you had you would have knowN this was a copy so I doN't think you're going to get anywhere with the seller. Think your only option is going to be the official Paypal/Trading Standard/FACT route.

Someone also needs to explain to the newbies that have bought ofF this guy how to leave appropriate feedback. If they'd done so he would probably have been shut down by eBay now for having too many complaints and negatives.
