I didn't watch Barry Manilow Rose but I know my sis is a big fan of him so she would be drooling over him!

Well kitchen isn't going too well as we though! As well as waiting till next week for work tops to be fitted, we got oven in today and they hadn't accounted for depth of oven. The cupboards won't open properly! The socket where we moved washer to doesn't fit and we didn't realise gas oven also had an electric point on for fan too so wire is in way! Why can't things be straight forward!

sorry plans aren't going as wanted with your kitchen,
when we moved here & had the old one ripped out they said there would be no problems but of course it turned out there was :eek:
sometimes think nothing is ever straightforward!
hopefully all will work out in the end for you :A

haven't had tv on since coro was on as SIL popped in & wanted to watch it, switched it off after she'd gone so could concentrate on comps

Good Morning,

Wet and miserable here and we are supposed to be taking DD & friends to Ayr today. Friends were holding a party for DD at local wildlife park last night. It was supposed to be at beach but weather too bad. Don't know when DD and friends got in this morning but hopefully none of them were drinking and will be waken at a decent time. Hope she had a good time as yesterday wasn't great for her with workmen in her room and then the Chinese she ordered wasn't the right thing and she didn't like it!

Sorry you are having problems with kitchen wingo. Think if you order anything slightly different there are always problems. Had loads of problems with my pull out larder and had to get different mechanism in it. Joiner was going mad with it and we are sure they sent us the same thing twice to try. He also had to leave a part out to get freezer in.

Thought there was a problem with our heating yesterday, heard electrician and plumber discussing things (I was ready to cry!) - turned out plumber had connected hot pipe to cold and cold pipe to hot under floor. It was such a relief when they figured it out. Couldn't understand why it was so hot in living room last night either, have an extra radiator now but though thermostat things would stop it getting too hot. Turned out hall thermostat was up at 30. Had to go on internet to find out how to set heating too as instructions don't tell us how to do it as that was an optional extra thing. Have left it on factory setting anyway until I have more time.

Thanks FF. Work more or less finished now apart from new window in bathroom. Need new vinyl and a lot of varnishing and painting to do though! :eek:
