I always used to think people who got their groceries delivered were plain lazy - however I must admit it's easier than going into town - I've had to go in to our local town 3 times in the last 3 days to get bits & bobs - by foot as we don't drive & my arthritic hip is no longer speaking to me. DH normally does shopping on his bikes but as he has to take it very easy for the next few days or possible weeks it's down to me s o we had the bulky & heavy stuff delivered & Tesco delivered it early so we had a prenium delivery slot for the rice of an ordinary oneproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Sounds like everyone has had a good day. We had a nice one too and weather was better than expected. We went shopping in Ayr and DH and I left girls shopping and had fish and chips before doing a 5 miles walk to a castle. Came home to a beautiful bouquet of lilies from DS1 as it is Mothers Day in Oz tomorrow. Other two boys had made a lovely roast beef meal for us with lots of extras which was a lovely surprise. Wouldn't have had the fish and chips earlier if we had known though..
Also had another John Frieda win - little tubes of shampoo and conditioner which are really handy.
Might as well use delivery service hamster1 when you don't have a car. We tend to do a big weekly shop in next town using the car and buy the rest as we need it by walking down to our own town.
Glad your garlic chicken was good rose.
Will look out for Asda when we are away Bella but not many in surrounding area.
Outdoor swimming sounds good Katie. I burn easily too.
Did you have a takeaway tonight FF?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Good Morning,
Looking cloudy here too Bella. Have loads of washing to sort out too.
Going out for lunch with family for DS3's 18th. Heard him crash in at 4.30am mind you so think he has already started to celebrate so hope he won't be feeling too bad!
Have got some balloons to hang outside on the trees. 10 years since I last did that. (for DS2)
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Thanks FF - never seen DS so excited. All his friends are 18 or more and he has been left out of things for a while. Shame his oldest brother isn't here but he has been on phone. I will actually be happier that he can go in pubs rather than elsewhere.
Hope your shed is OK. xMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
