Hi everyone, been quiet in here today. We have just had a fish and chip takeaway which was nice. No hot water so easier than making a meal. We don't have any heating either - just a little electric fire.
Work should all be finished tomorrow but poor DD will need to get up at 8.30 to let the men through the floor hatch to finish. She isn't pleased especially as it is her birthday. She now has an enormous shelved cupboard in her bedroom where the old boiler was though so not all bad for her. Plumber said he will get her a box of chocs to apologise. :rotfl:

Well kitchen is half done had a nightmare with floor being leaking, uneven and we still need to sort it out before tiles etc. I've got so much work needing doing in the house I've decided I can't afford to pack in my other casual job just yet! if I get a few more shifts out of it, would help.
