    Just had to go down town to get some shopping and the town was mobbed with Wickerman Festival peeps trying to get breakfast etc. Constant stream of cars, caravans and vans heading through town too.
    Was first year for peeps running main caf! and obviously no-one warned them how busy they would be as they were panic buying sausages in Tesco as they had ran out.

    Saw that offer in Morrisons a wee while ago rose but they had ran out of Smirnoff and I haven't been back to one since to get any.

    Just made a chicken curry for later will probably have enough for freezer as well so that is a meal for another day without cooking

    No DD not working today FF. She works in the fish restaurant and take- away anyway and they don't do breakfasts. Expect all the festival goers will be away now. A lot of them hang back as the roads get so busy.

    oooh yuk, when I think back to what some of them
    used to have :eek::rotfl:
    double fried eggs & loads of greasy fried bacon in

    giraffemunch.gif Ahh!

    I baked a nice big berry pie today to eat with ice cream later! Quite proud as it was my first attempt! Just hope our pet giraffe doesn't eat it! (only joking but a giraffe is on my list of prizes I hope to win!)

    FF I bet your water fountain is lovely - do you have a pond with fishes too?! We just have a single fountain in our front garden and I must admit I love to hear it trickling when the window is open - quite soothing too when I go to bed with my window open as my bedroom is at the front of the house. My parents also have a fountain over their fish pond and they have fishes and frogs living in there! Lovely to watch the birds drink and wash under the fountain too! :)

    Hope you enjoyed your day Sylvia and your chicken curry sounds wonderful Rose!

    Shiels, sounds like you got mobbed in town! I live by the sea and on hot weekends the seafront and beach gets mobbed too! Loads of traffic as well! I much prefer the beach during school days when it is peaceful with the odd regular dog walkers!

    Loving your chihuahua pic Wingo!

    PS Thanks for all the kind words girls - I am feeling so much better already!
