I received in the post yesterday a personalised Wilkinson razor. Also waiting on Pantene shampoo & conditioner.
It is raining here at the moment and temperature has dropped, found the last few days hard going as the heat was unbearable, especially at night when trying to sleep.
Sheils seems like a good bargain on your October holiday booking. You could get a job reviewing travel accommodation and eating out as you have great experience.
I eat salads at work each day, and when it was so hot I didn't want to eat a hot meal but as you say there's only so many salads you can eat.
Went out last night with a friend to celebrate her mum's 93rd birthday, we had a beautiful meal. Can't be bothered eating today, would love ice cream or rice pudding.
Good luck comping for the rest of the month, to date this month I have won one prize.

Just had fish and mushy peas from chippy decided against having chips as well as fish was huge It was lovely loads of salt and vinegar. Raining again here but nothing like downpour we had this afternoon.

Sheils hope your DS is cool enough at work. I'm sure the kitchen is normally warm enough without the added heat we have been having the last few days. Heat like that tires you out. Now that it's raining might be cooler for him.
Are you heading away anywhere this weekend? Chester looked lovely. Is that where Hollyoaks is filmed? I would love a trip round Coronation Street Manchester, I think they are starting up tours again.

Yes Chester is where Hollyoaks is filmed Dreams - just over the river. We went to "Coronation Street" many years ago when Cadbury was sponsoring it and really enjoyed it. My parents went a few weeks ago and enjoyed it too but went on a coach tour and it was a bit long for them. We aren't going away this weekend because we didn't want to go when "The Wickerman" was on in case kids went and brought peeps back. Of course no-one is going now we are at home.
Well done on the razor win. Think I must be one of the only peeps not to win one.

Does any of the actors be on site when they are doing the Coronation Street tours? Would love to meet some of them. If I was going I would probably go by Coach, I know years ago our local bus station did trips across. Must check and see if there are any for this year.

No don't think any actors are there Dreams although I did see some prizes which included meeting "Curly Watts"

Dreams they are in a new studio set now think the tour is the old set. You can even get married there now as they have a licence

Thanks Rose, that's probably right it is the old set, they only recently moved to the new set.
Be nice to see some of the actors, Sheils that was a nice prize meeting up with the actors.
Rose I would have to find a man first before thinking of getting wed in the Rovers Return, you never know maybe I could combine the two with a visit there and meet a nice handsome hunk when I'm there.
