I like my fresh salmon grilled and smoked stuff in a creamy sauce with tagliatelle. Not that keen on tinned, although I like tinned tuna in a sandwich with mayo or in a pasta bake.


Been nagging DS3 to ask for pay rise as was sure his boss had forgotten and he was earning under minimum wage for an 18 year old which is ridiculous for a fully qualified chef. Anyway he finally asked today and is getting a £55 a week rise so he will be in a good mood tonight.

That's great your sons getting a pay rise sheils I can imagine how many hours he puts in for pittance! I always think chefs are underpaid.

Lol fire**fly, great pics! The baby crocs look like one of them is smiling for the camera! I wouldn't like to be walking along side that road on the other pic! :eek:
I also like tinned red salmon for sandwiches but never fancied fresh salmon!

Your garden sounds like it's coming on lovely My new neighbour doesn't really have time for her garden either as she has a little boy so I don't feel as bad with ours not having flowers in now! The old neighbour had his own gardener etc but then again....he was doing dodgy dealings so could afford it!

I've been having a good clear out again with girls. I forgot about a load of clothes I put away which were DD1's in the cupboard behind bath. I kept some for DD2 and put the rest in charity bags! I don't know where all the clothes seem to come from...too many!

I've just downloaded that unrollme and I had 587 subscriptions! I've just deleted lots so hopefully will save a lot of trawling through emails in the hope there's a win in there!

Looking misty here but supposed to turn out a lovely day.
Had a text from DD yesterday saying it had taken hours to get into the festival and they were putting up the tent. It is a big 9 man tent so hopefully be comfy enough as only 6 females in it I think. Can't imagine her without all her comforts!


Yes DS3 works silly hours for his money wingo. Don't know why chefs don't get paid overtime, mind you so many peeps are working extra hours for nothing these days. DS1 has been known to work most of some weekends in busy times, but at least he earns a huge salary. He had big increase last month too which will probably mean he wants to stay in Oz
Have tried the unroll me too - thank you. I had 384 and unsubscribed about 300 I think.


Friday again so hope it is a lucky one for us all.

Hi everyone, not a bad morning again today.

Thanks for the lovely dog pics everyone they are lovely.

Sorry you will have to excuse me today, I have DD1+OH and Sister coming today all coming to help with the big push to finish clearing up the packing etc. May be a bit itty bitty in the Inn over the next two weeks especially during week days as not sure about the electric and will be super busy.

Got one DD off school who was too upset to go to sports day so I'm not putting her through it. She was making herself sick with worry over it! Youngest ones got school fete so she was looking forward to going!
I've got a line full of washing out so hope the weather stays ok.

Glad you also managed to get rid of lots of subscriptions too sheils Just hope it works properly!

Them strawbs look delicious in that pic fire**fly! :drool: I bought some from tesco the other day and they were tiny! I wasn't happy with their salad either....it had that days date on! You would think they would reduce it in price if it had same day date!
