Wow you lot have been busy chatting away!
Thanks for the new Inn glad & enjoy your wine
I've been busy sorting out ready for kitchen fitting. Dishwasher coming tomorrow but I don't know where to put it! Just had a nice relaxing bath and could have quite easily fell sleep!
Oh I missed Gino on tv Sheils. I like watching him but I couldn't tell you what he cooks as I'm too busy drooling over him!
I hate the look of the fish heads too fire**fly and always avoid the fresh fish counters!Don't like exotic meats either but then again I imagine lots of takeaways etc use all kinds of meats unaware to us!
Back to school tomorrow and sons just decided to throw up!He's hardly ever sick and he's had a 100% attendance so far! If it's not one it's the other! Mind you....I put my washing out today and within minutes they were covered in them horrible black flies! Yuk! No wonder there's a lot of sickness around.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
hiya wingo, great your dishwashers coming tomorrow &

oh yes, wasn't there a tv programme that used to be on a while back where they went round restaurants/takeaways etc
& some of them were awful  half the stuff put in the meals wasn't the meat they claimed it was

Good Morning,
Woke up early so must try and get some comps done before we all try and get showers before workmen appear. Won't be handy having DS2 here as well but he will just need to wait until tonight for his shower as can't see him getting up before 8.30am.
Hope your DS is feeling better this morning wingo and you get your dish washer delivered OK. Know what you mean about Gino.
Looking quite nice out this morning. Have loads of clothes to hang out so hope it stays that way. Forecast for rest of week pretty bad.
Wishing everyone a lucky week.

Thanks Bella - will be stressed by end of week especially with DS2 here too and 2 birthdays!
Thanks for Gino link FF. Hadn't had time to look for it. It was the courgette frittata that I really fancied. See a cherry tiramisu as well - yum! Loving your pics.
Had my shower already. DD up and about early today as it is her maths exam. Haven't spoken to her as she gets irritated easily on exam days!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Have been lurking for ages, sheils hope you get sorted before the workmen arrive.
Up early this morning as DH has got to go to hospital this am - had a routine ecg last week & doc thinks he has angina so he has to have it checked - cue one really annoyed DH as it means he will miss some cricket.
I've been a cricket widow for years but still don't like it , I couls spend all day comping but get fed up arouns lunch times, especially as wind have been sparse & low value this year - perhaps it means a biggie is on its wayproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -

http://shows.stv.tv/talk-tv/240065-gino-dacampos-courgette-frittata-with-tomato-salsa/
just going to print it out :j
Serves 4
2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
1 RED ONION, PEELED AND SLICED
3 COURGETTES (PREFERABLY WITH FLOWERS), SLICED
1 YELLOW PEPPER, AND SLICED
1 RED PEPPER, SLICED
6 EGGS, BEATEN
50G PARMESAN CHEESE
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
For the salsa
4 RIPE TOMATOES, DICED
50G PITTED GREEN OLIVES, CUT IN HALF
2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
JUICE OF ½ LEMON
PINCH OF DRIED CHILLI FLAKES
SMALL BUNCH OF BASIL LEAVES, TORN
Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and add the onion and peppers.
Cook for 2 minutes before adding the courgettes.
Cook for 3–4 minutes until starting to brown.
Season with salt and pepper.
Season the eggs with black pepper,
then pour into the frying pan.
Use a spatula to move them around until they start to set on the bottom and around the sides.
Grate a little Parmesan over the frittata,
then carefully slide it out onto a board or saucepan lid.
Place the frying pan on top and flip it over so that you can cook the other side for 2 minutes.
Grate a little more Parmesan over the top.
To make the salsa, put the tomatoes, olives, oil and lemon juice in a bowl, season with salt and pepper,
then add the chilli flakes.
Set aside for 10 minutes, then add the basil.
Slide the cooked frittata onto a plate and serve with the salsa on top
