Morning all, rained most of the night here. Was still await at 3.30.

Hope you kitchen fitting goes OK Wingo and that you find room for the dishwaher. Is DS better today and able to go to school. He has done well with 100% attendance. Big hugs for you all.

Think you are going to be really bust with all you family Sheils and hope the building work finishes quickly for you. Good luck to your DD with her exam.

Thanks for all the recipies etc firefly. Its rained well here but as you say its good for all the plants.

Sound like you are having a tough time Hamsterfan sorry to hear about you DH and hope that all is OK.

Have to wait in this morning for the workmen to come and do a test to make sure there is now asbestos before they start work in July. Need to take DH for a hair cut before the holiday.

Hope the comping fairy is kind to you all today.



Think we do better with firefly's Buddha than the comping fairy though.

Thanks everyone. DD went off fairly cheerful so fingers crossed.
Can't concentrate on my comping with all the noise going on at the moment - floor being cut out I think! Never staying at home while major work is done again if I can help it.
Have got washing hung out and will go for a walk after men have had their coffee I think.

I knew you wouldn't let me down firefly. Thanks for the Buddha. I have rubbed his head and his belly. I am hoping my Sister will check the emails for us while we are away. That will keep her busy!

Hi FF, yes, no rain this morning or any forecast for today. I got up a few times throughout the night as my DD is still not too well and heard the rain. I am keeping her off the rest of the week as the doc rang earlier to confirm her stool test results as showed gastroenteritis which is infectious Just hoping my other 3 or me don't catch it :eek:

Fingers crossed for your DH at the hospital hamsterfan and hope he gets back in time for the cricket xx I'm not a cricket lover either! I used to run away from the cricket ball (and hockey) at school as my friend got a black eye from it!

Glad to say DS wasn't sick any more and gone to school. DD1 was late yet again as she was stressed out this morning looking for her PE kit! She blames everyone else for moving it and then finds where she originally put it! I've had to write her a note to be excused as she was so upset. Why do kids never get their bags prepared before hand when told!

Still waiting for my dishwasher to come & Hoover coming too. Can't wait to give the house a proper good hoovering! Hubby is in a grump as always, not sure why!
