Plumbing for outside tap

Hi all

I have an outside tap that seems to have a problem with it - I think it has no pressure, but not sure why...I attach some pics below of how it is is set up, what I can't work out is it appears to be attached to the same pipe as the cold, which has loads of pressure...

This is the stop tap, underneath there, there is a flexible pipe (unsure where that leads to)

This one leads on from the last picture (ignore the cups haha)

Again, just continues from last picture...

The pipe on the right is the one that goes out to the tap

The tap does have a slight bit of pressure when you cover it with your finger

Ive spoken to the landlord, however they seem to think its the check valve, which would be a pain to fix as it would mean taking kitchen cupboards out?

Where is the outside tap actually fed from then? Is it going out thru the back of the cupboard on the final picture?

Yeah, on the final pic about halfway up there is a pipe leaving to go outside to the tap, I assume there is a check valve somewhere behind the kitchen cupboard

Doubtful (unless you can see a valve thru the hole) - I'd say the OS tap itself has issues, as many have a built in check valve or two.

For a few quid I'd be tempted to just change that (the whole tap) first and see.

If that bottom picture is where it goes through the wall, it looks like the flexible hose is bent too far - the rubber pipe inside is probably folded almost shut.

It doesn't look like there is an isolation valve to the outside tap so water must be flowing to the tap itself so that's likely the problem. Take a pic of the outside tap and we can see how easy it will be for you to change it, some just have a wall plate and can easily be screwed off

I took the tap completely off today, leaving the initial connector only and no water came out, just a drip

You turned the stop tap off first?
You then disconnected the outside tap?
You then turned the stop tap back on again and still no flow of water?

Brave man taking the tap off!!!!

Use your phone to take a picture down the back of the unit then - there must be a valve.
