I was very interested to see you mention a possible lung transplant in the future. My cousin has CF and had a heart and lung transplant at Papworth hospital many years ago when she was 23.Her condition had deteriorated so much she needed a wheelchair because her energy was zilch and she was gasping for breath after the slightest effort. her weight was about 6 stone and unless a donor was found for her transplant they didn't expect her to survive more than a few more months. Her heart was fine (and was used to transplant 'live' into another recipient so she was well chuffed) but she needed the lungs and in those days they used to do the combined transplant (probably still do for all I know). The result was nothing short of miraculous, she went on to marry and give birth naturally to a baby. They had lots of genetic counselling and tests etc prior to making the decision to have a child and everything was fine. Her daughter doesn't have it:j. Obviously she still has CF ( new lungs don't cure it) but she had many years of good health before the condition became debilitating again.
Hi CBC - any sign of the You Gov money yet?
I'm so pleased your cousin got a transplant. So many people don't make it due to a lack of donors. It's good that her daughter doesn't have the illness too, although she will obviously be a carrier, so might have to think about that when she thinks about having children.

Morning

Need to post in my diary more often. My earnings have grinded to a bit of a halt, so I must start keeping track of them, starting with today.
So, today's earnings are:
£10 from JPJ (free game)
£16 MS job (doing this afternoon - also get a £9 spend, which I will use to buy a Christmas present)
£3 from Pinecone
£10 from bingo site (won with free bonus cash)
I'll keep coming back and updating as I go along.
Speaking of Christmas presents (you know it's creeping up on us!! The stuff will be in the shops next month!!), I got a couple of sets on the MSE Sanctuary offer. I got two for £15, so one can go to my friend and the other to OH's mum. I usually spend £10 on my friend and £15 on OH's mum, so a nice saving there.

Good morning, Emz and all your followers. I hope you are all having a better one than me:beer:
Spent hours last weekend trying to unearth the most likely saleable stuff from the back of the shed. Had to drag everything out to get inside to where I thought the 'good' stuff was and as we kept having downpours had to hurriedly shove everything back in again:( Took most of the day to unearth anything remotely saleable and after giving it a check over realise it was hardly worth the effort.:(. Still, one man's trash is another man's treasure, as they say.
Poured with rain most of last night so I knew the field where I go would be a quagmire. Decided to list a few books on Amazon instead today. Not much else money-making is likely today.
Am fed up with trying to make anything from surveys. YouGov eventually paid up on Tuesday but I seem to be screened out more often from most surveys from other sites and am a good way from payouts of the best ones. Have concluded it isn't worth the time taken and annoyance at getting screened out just to claim the occasional £5 Amazon voucher or Paypal. As soon as I've redeemed from each survey site I'm going to stop doing them. Will just keep YouGov(as I like their surveys and although it takes forever to redeem they tend to have lots of surveys round election times including valuable phone ones) and Pinecone (sporadic but worth doing and at least pay is pretty quick straight after each survey.)
What a grumble-guts I sound today:o . Sorry to spoil your Sunday.
Incidentally, Emz, what do the initials and and amounts signify in your signature? You probably told us but I've forgotten:o0 -

That's right Lou - I'm a naughty girl with that much in arrears

Sorry it was chucking it down CBC - fingers crossed for better weather this weekend. I know what you mean about the surveys - maybe just take a break from them for a bit? Glad you finally got the You Gov money
.

It has not been a pleasant couple of days for me. I think the new drug they put me on has had an adverse effect on my stomach. I'm sure once it gets settled in my system, I'll be fine. Just hope I don't lose too much weight.
Back to earning tomorrow though - needs must.

Thanks Dawn

I'm a bit more settled today. Even managed to meet up with my sister and the kids to go to a petting zoo this morning (haven't seen the kids in a week and a half as they've been up north - my nephew came running up to me calling my name when he saw me. Love them so much
).
I've done a bit of work on 63336 this afternoon. Only a couple of hours or so, but I'm nearly up to £5. Doesn't sound a lot, but the work has definitely picked up compared to what it was a week ago. Tomorrow I'm going to try and earn £20 on there.
I've also claimed a £21 Amazon voucher from TCB and £5 from Swagbucks. I'm doing a mobile survey that I'll get paid £5 for in a few weeks too.

Not a bad morning so far. I have:
Done a survey on Pinecone, so will get £3 for that.
Got my 63336 earnings up to £6.90 (it has gone slow again - will just have to keep plodding on with them I think).
Done a couple of surveys for Valued Opinions and am £1.50 away from claiming a voucher. One of the surveys is also sending me some body spray to try.
Got some free tickets to see The Hundred-Foot Journey at the end of the month.
Have joined Roamler and am trying to get up to level 2 so I can do some paying tasks (although there is a £2 task on there that I will complete later). I'm 220 points away from level 2.
Uploaded some receipts to Receet and am now at 912 points (although I see the Amazon redemption option has now gone).
Met my Swagbucks target and am not far away from getting another £5 voucher.
