THREE payg

I just bought into Three's 321 payg. It is rubbish in my area despite they claiming the service is good here. Can I get my money back? Also, will they have locked my iphone to them?

how much did u pay for it? u could have got it free if u had order it online.

Doubt that you'd get any refund on a PAYG sim credit but if your phone was not bought from Three then it should be unlocked and useable on any network.

If it's bought new, e.g. from CPW, even 'sim-free', it locks to the first network it connects to.

I had the phone already....it was just the sim card and the credit that I bought from Three.

I had used it with Tesco 02 and then got it unlocked by them so I could switch to Three.

Just heard back from Three who say there is no prospect of a better signal. Guess I'll have to go back to the shop and ask for a refund.:(

You'll be limited in what your options are - I doubt any PAYG seller offers refunds or exchanges. If CW, their phones are usually unlocked (only iPhones will self-lock ON contract, not if SIM-free).


A different SIM on a different network will probably suit you.

SIM free iPhone 5s will lock to the network of the first SIM used.

iPhones bought direct from Apple don't do that but yes, oddly, ones from CPW do.

Which is odd because they're not subsidised in any way IIRC.
